Porous Materials- We design most of our porous ceramics in 90-98% Alumina bodies. We have also made porous ceramics from Silicon Carbide, Mullite, and Fused Silica for specific applications.
We can manufacture customized pore sizes and pore size distributions between 0.1𝛍m and 100𝛍m. Depending on the grade and shape of the part the pore volume will be designed between 35 and 60% of the total volume. We also design porous bodies to have specific surface chemistries for applications where electrochemical properties are critical.
